Mount Vernon golf resorts

Upon arrival, there was only one washcloth provided in the room for two guests. We requested additional washcloths at check-in, but after waiting approximately two hours, housekeeping delivered extra towels instead. We had to request washcloths again after we had already showered and were preparing to leave for the evening. Additionally, the room temperature was set to 80°, and we had to wait for staff to come and turn on the air conditioning. There were also no remotes in the room upon arrival. We had to request remotes for both rooms we reserved, and one of the remotes did not work properly. It required multiple staff members attempting to fix the issue, which was not resolved until around 10:00 PM—leaving us with very limited time to relax and watch TV before going to bed. Once we returned from our evening out at the comedy show, the second room on our reservation was hot and had to request to have this fixed. It was upsetting due to the fact that my in-laws were staying in this room and my father-in-law is currently in chemotherapy and was having a difficult time breathing. We also had to go down to the front desk several times in person to follow up on these concerns, which was inconvenient. I would like to note that the front desk staff were courteous and did their best to assist us throughout these issues. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations due to the repeated inconveniences.
