Fine property

Stay was pleasent, didnt get to use the indoor pool but spoke to the attendant & gave all the info required, had an issue on the 2nd night with no power in the room all evening. Eventually we got moved room & all was ok.

Positives Great hotel, lovely staff, lovely clean room, comfortable nights sleep, coffee maker, kettles biscuits etc in room. Amazing breakfast. Downside Small blood stain at bottom of duvet cover, my husband told me not to call about it I do have a photo., I then decided to order room service 2 shandys and the Pina Colada dessert, when I took the cover off it was 2 scoops of icecream and some coconut no pineapple at all nothing like the menu description, I even took a photo as I I was quite shocked. I could not call room service to complain, as the phone in the room was not working I reported this to reception as I called to place the room service order from my mobile I should have gone to reception before checking out unfortunately we were in a rush.

very friendly front desk! The WiFi was great. The shower strength was amazing, as was the air con given our current weather. We only stayed one night but would definitely revisit ahould the need arise

No lift, due to being disabled this wasn't great. and no ground room available Arrived to a double room, should of been twin. Moved to another room. We could see next doors waste pipe! Sink drain in bathroom totally blocked which gave a unpleasant smell. Went to the bar in the evening and i felt sorry for the girl on the bar, was unsure how to do the drinks, then said ran out of unflavoured gin, didnt know which other gin was unflavoured.

A room to keep our bicycles in over-night would have been good. The swimming pool was a lovely way to relax after the long drive we had. The meal we ordered was very tasty and all the staff were very helpful

We arrived around 14.30 ready for a 15.00 check in. As everyone was already doing the same thing we were asked to wait which wasn't an issue. We got a coffee and just waited. We could see others checking in but still we waited. A lovely lady called Emily came to us to check us in as we were near enough the last people. She apologized profusely for the delay but it didn't matter at all to us Because of the delay we were offered any drink be it hot or cold The room was very clean and comfortable. Could've have asked for more. We had booked to go to The First Direct Arena to see Billy Ocean so asked Emily if she knew the bus timetable. She went above and beyond to sort everything out for us A true and very valuable asset to the company. Many thanks Emily Steve and Linda
