Pleasantly surprised as we went for WVU family weekend. This got us out of the campus and into the beautiful country. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel was quiet. The main hotel is undergoing renovations, which are very much needed. There was no one at the front desk on Thanksgiving Day when I arrived and no one within shouting distance. I got someone when I called the hotel number. Eventually someone came to the desk and cheerfully checked me in. Not her fault; appeared to be skeleton staff on slow day.

The room was clean and comfortable. I read some reviews that the rooms needed updating. This might be true, but my room was clean and well cared for. My son and I played 18 holes and the course was in good shape. Some soft areas from recent rain coupled with some careless cart drivers had left some extra hazards.
