the staff was good but the room was horrible it was so hot like oven. Understandable that the weather outside is freaking cold and the aircon is frozen, but the receptionist should advice the guest a head of time. And assist them if we need a fan or something.

Renovated rooms facing the pool are unbearably hot and humid, especially at nite (it was over 30 degrees Celsius at nite) AC units in the rooms are simply fans blowing hot air. My son enjoyed the pool and the coffee machine in the lobby was nice.

I noticed garbage behind the bed but the room was clean. Staff was very helpful when I checked in. When I got to my room and opened the door there was a strong odor of pot that came into the hallway. I phoned front, was offered a room but opted to stay. The smell did go away by morning but around 830 the next night the smell returned. Since I share a bathroom vent, I could tell it was the guest next to me. I phoned the front desk, a wirker smelt it as soon as the door opened. I did change rooms that night.
