Great for location as we were watching our grandson play at Caronport. However, that town has no restaurants other than subway! So it means a trip into Moose Jaw for any food options. They serve a breakfast in the hotel which was a blessing

My husband, our eight year old husky mix, and I do a 15 hour drive from our home in Alberta to family in Manitoba and back again on a pretty regular basis and this place is perfect for tired travellers. Usually we do the trip in one long day, but on the occasions where we are just too tired or the weather has turned on us,the Pilgrim Inn is a Godsend. They have pet friendly rooms, affordable prices, continental breakfast and are just off the highway. The pet fee is $20 (which is not included in the Expedia price), but that is quite reasonable compared to other hotels. There is also a gas station/cafe/subway nearby so you can grab some food and a cappuccino before you leave the next day. Don’t forget to use your CAA card for a discount!
