Overlooking the Great Deviding Range and farmland. Peace and quiet in this tranquil 100 acres property. Back block natural bush land with undulating hills. Nature at your doorstep, kangaroos, wallabies including the tiny Pademelons. Native birds to the area. Miniature horse loves a carrot or slice of bread. friendly lowline Angus cows Comet, Ira and Nugget the bull feeding in the paddocks. friendly minature horses who love carrots Buddy the stallion, Bella and Bell the mares. Fireplace for those wintery nights. Lots of destinations to visit in the Scenic Rim which has been named the 8th best destination in the world. Fresh rain water on tap. Once again views to die for.
Please note shops are a 30 minute drive to Rosewood. Or Aratula 23 minutes has a pub, bakery and service stations.

Wonderful stay to replenish the soul. Lively to feed the miniature horses and feed baby calf. Sunsets are unbelievably beautiful.

We were only there for a short time but it was a very nice and comfortable stopover on our 100 mile run. I’m going to have to come back again for a real stay so we can enjoy your views in daylight.

Weekend getaway
Great peaceful location for a long weekend getaway for a couple/family. We enjoyed the stay on this lovely property. Perfect for a chill weekend of doing nothing, or exploring the area depending on your interest. Such a beautiful part of South East QLD. Hot tip, approach the property from the northern end of Tarome Rd to avoid the approximately 6km patch of gravel road from the south, unless you have a suitable vehicle. It's totally driveable in a sedan, but a bit bumpy, dusty & a few potholes and corrugations. Will be back again in the near future for another stay.

A Perfect Country Getaway
Christine was a great host, and a pleasure to talk to. If you want an easy getaway in the scenic rim at a farm with perfect views do not look past this cottage. I usually look for bigger places to stay in a group, but the cottage gave way more than I expected. The three rooms are almost their own separate cottages there is just more space and privacy than I expected. Honestly, I could not have had a better time, laughing, cooking and going to the lake and enjoying the views the Scenic Rim has to offer. If you are traveling with your family or a small group, look no further. Thank you Christine and Mark for having us and for anyone who stays next, please give the pony some slices of bread from me.

We had a great time staying at the cottage. It was nice to just stop and watch the world go by. The cottage was very comfortable, great communication with the host. We’d never seen a miniature horse before. The location was handy to Summerland camels 🐪.
