Great room, comfortable bed. However, unfortunately, the lift was out of order during the stay, and the room was too hot. Breakfast was a good buffet breakfast with a selection of continental and cooked food. Overall, it was a good stay, just a shame the temperature was too hot.

The staff were great however the hotel is looking very dated. The door frame looked like it had been kicked in more than once. The carpets, curtains and overall decor were really old. That said, the room was clean yet basic.

This was a one night stay after a nearby funeral service. We needed an evening meal. Disappointing quality. Steak pie crust was like damp cardboard and anybody's guess what the filling was. Parking was plentiful and easy. Room was shabby and badly in need of basic maintenance including decoration. Bedside lights not working. Poor value for money.
