The best location, walkable distance to everything you’d want, and in a very cool neighborhood. The pool is nice, everything is very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. 100-% recommend Hotel Luz! All the staff, from the owners to office staff and breakfast room staff, were courteous and helpful. The breakfast options were delicious. Our room, Los DosToros on the second floor, was large with a sitting area and storage. There is a towel rack in the bathroom, not just hooks, so your towels can actually dry. All areas were attractively decorated. The central location is ideal for walking to great restaurants, parks, churches and markets. Parking is provided about a block away. If steep steps are a challenge, there are also ground floor rooms.

Luz is a great place to stay. We returned after 10 years and what a great surprise to see some familiar faces and some great new ones as well. Many changes since our last stay and all beautiful and for the good. We had the complimentary breakfast and it was delicious. Would highly recommend staying at Luz.
