I would have given them a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the intoxicating smell of "smoking"fumes all over the corridors and the lift, the smell was so strong that my eyes stinged!

Worse La Quinta I have stayed in

This was a terrible experience. I have never stayed in a La Quinta like this. The whole place smelled bad, we found fake finger nails in the bed, the room was not clean and the breakfast was terrible. The juice machine was out of order, the gated parking lot gate was broken leaving only one gate to use and the staff seemed put out when I asked questions. And after all that, thebprice was a lot higher than I agreed to (probably not their fault since it was many taxes placed on the stay) but for this experience, they should have paid me to stay there. I would not recommend this location.

When we got to the hotel there were several cars parked in the entrance. Those who were driving them were just sitting around playing on their phones. We couldn’t get near the front door to check in. The room was in need of a major overhaul! Especially for an accessible room. The bed had a small mattress topper on it and you could see urine stains on the mattress. Lastly when checking out I ask the desk clerk why we were charged $20 per pet (we have two shih tzus) when the description that was listed with our room reservation clearly stated $20 per accommodation. Clerk said they were ‘accommmodating our two dogs’ so two pet charges. What? She was so rude and snappy. I think she’s absolutely wrong on every level. If you’re looking for accommodations I recommend that you move on!
