Our 3rd visit tothe RIU Emerald Bay. Beautiful location for people that want a little of everything. Pools all had dufferent temperatures to suite all. Beach is expansive, a fantastic walk. We always found the buffets differed slightly, so food dudnot get boring. Overall very relaxing vacation.

The staff is amazing. The resort is super clean and very well kept. The rooms are a little dated but not terrible because you rarely are in there anyways. The food was fine. Im a picky eater so its tough. But i always managed to find something. But the staff really makes this place what it is. RAMON and PEDRO are amazing in the dining areas. FRANCESCO at the pool bar is the best!!! And Jose on the RiuFun team was amazing! They truly made the trip what it was and makes us want to go back!

I had an overall amazing experience at the RIU. The staff were always kind, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure everything was taken care of for us. The property was clean and well taken care of. The food was overall quite good with lots of variety. The odd time I chose meat that was overcooked and dry. I like to work out and the gym had a few machines that were not working and needed maintenance. This is something that could be improved upon.

Like: pools, many food choices, entertainment staff Dislike: The loud Band on the beach every day! Too many lounge chairs squeezed in (for the number of hotel guests) made them difficult to use. We prefer a shower only, not the awkward tub/shower in the room. The Towel Folding is cute, but not necessary.

When we arrived i was with my family members, my mother in law had a hard time walking so we asked if we could be put on main floor close to the pool and the check in lady made it all happen. What a great place... The only thing i did not care for is that they dont have a computer to check in for flight's when its time to go home. Thats the only problem. Thank you for a wounderful vacation....

We have a wonderful time there all the people who worked there were very nice and helpful I love the food ,It was quiet and clean the only thing I didn’t like it was that we cannot get a reservation for the special restaurants and it was far away from that downtown still, it was wonderful to stay there . I’ll be back and I will recommend it

Overall stay was fantastic. Rooms were great. Food was great and the weather was awesome. The only problem I had and the one thing I was extremely disappointed with was that on the day I was checking out the hotel charged me an extra $100 just so my family and I could sit by the pool for a couple of hours while we waited for our shuttle. I had already spent thousands on this vacation and needing to spend more just so we could kill 2 hours was BS.

Our stay was great. The resort is very spacious with several pools which allows you to choose how quiet or noisy you want your day to be. Poolside service lacks a bit depending on what pool you are by so be prepared to help yourself to get your drink which honestly is not a game changer. Tons of chairs by the pools and the beach so no need to rush out and save your chairs unless you continually want the same spot each day. Main buffet had lots of food choices, salads, veggies and fruit was always crisp and fresh regardless of where you ate. Resort itself is a good size so you are not feeling crowded. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be going back.
