Was staying there on way to visit a relative that was dying from cancer. He became too sick to visit at the last minute. Tried to cancel and get my money back but the hotel wouldn't make any exceptions to the no refund rule. So we didn't stay there and will never stay there. I'm sure there are other hotels in the area. Kinda heartless thing to do considering the circumstances.

We have stayed at many hotels in this area of Virginia. This hotel wins the prize as the best!!! We reserved the room that offered extra space. This was a fantastic hotel room! Great if you are traveling with kids. I loved the shower head--it has like a rain forest rain option--was awesome! The room had a very modern and efficient decor --with everyhting you needed--coffee maker,refrig, microwave, and extra kitchen sink. We loved the steamy indoor pool room with a great hot tub!!! You could turn up the heat in the swimming pool. :) Hotel was very clean everywhere. This was the best hotel breakfast we've had in years!!!!!! Very well done! SUPER friendly and helpful staff!!! We will stay there again!

Upon arrival the receptionist was quite informative and helpful. The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious and the lady staffing the breakfast room was quite nice and helpful.

The front desk checked someone else into my room and charged my credit card. When they arrive they could not find my reservation or my name. They finally gave me a room and said to check back in the morning. In the morning my credit card was still attached to a room I did not stay in. The morning attendant said the manager would be in and would solve everything. They had my email and phone number. 14 hours later I still have heard NOTHING.
