It was a high traffic area, but the parking lot was fenced in on 3 sides and we never saw any problems. It was a continental breakfast, nothing fancy, but everything was fresh and the couple that manned the desk were "johnny-on-the-spot @ refreshing it as needed. They went out of their way to be friendly and helpful in all aspects of the stay.

The location was great!! All the amenities were there and the front service was great but there were multiple spots that were not clean that was a big turn off. There were stains on the walls and chairs. Fridge had old food stains. The room was supposed to be smoke free but there was definitely a strong smell and pretty obvious it wasn’t cleaned throughly. If and that aside, it had potential to be a very comfortable stay!!

I entered the room with a foul odor, trash left behind from others just under the table and the primary light burned out. It’s noisy from the 6 lane street along side despite being as far back a possible. It’s more of a halfway house than a place for travelers making for awkward solicitations and noisy neighbors. The staff were nice though and I needed a cheap mattress to sleep on

They charged me $20 for having my dog, and the room smelled like an ashtray! The AC smelled of mold, drapes were torn and worn, and bed smelled like a used diaper. Glad I was only staying one night!

If I could give zero stars I would. No one there to check in when we got in around 11:30pm. We were greeted with meth heads in the parking lot. Incredibly dirty, was obviously not cleaned between guests. Smells like cigarettes and room was humid. Floors sticky. Weird drips on the walls and furniture. ROACHES! I took photos to complain at the front desk but there’s nobody there to complain to. Wish I could have my money back. I travel a LOT and this was by far the grossest room I’ve ever stayed in.

Downtown Roanoke is just a hop skip and a jump away. The facility appears clean. The staff and guest both were friendly. Beds are comfy and they even offer a complimentary breakfast. Great service for the price.
