Through no fault of the hotel there was no hot water for the two days we were there. The boiler for the hot water broke. The hotel is filthy and needs to be detailed and cleaned by professionals. The rooms needs to be remodeled, it is old and worn. The staff were polite and friendly and did their best to be accommodating. Our stay was fully refunded.

The hotel is a stone's throw from the border and not in a great location, sketchy businesses adjacent the parking lot. The staff was probably the most pleasant hotel staff I've ever encountered at a hotel. The hotel itself though is old, run down, and just worn. It's probably cleaner than it looks, but the dirt is just ground in everywhere. The beds and furniture was clean though. If you just want a quick turn place to stay for a decent price, I guess it is a good choice.

You get what you pay for. Cheap room, lower quality. The room smelled of marijuana. You can tell people vaped in the rooms. The room could use a full wipe down, not just the “most touched surfaces”. Have extra pillows and blankets available in the closet.
