Lupine Landing is a peaceful, spacious home in the Sierra foothills, designed to be an easy and comfortable place for families visiting Yosemite.
We set up the house the way we would want it if we were traveling with our own kids: simple sleeping arrangements, a kitchen that actually has what you need, toys and books for children, puzzles and cozy spaces for adults, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out without feeling crowded.
The home sits on a large, quiet property surrounded by pine and oak trees and moss-covered boulders. It feels tucked away in nature, but you’re still close to Mariposa for groceries, restaurants, and coffee, and within a reasonable drive of Yosemite’s entrances. Many guests tell us it’s the perfect base camp for their Yosemite trip—close enough for day adventures, quiet enough to truly rest at night.
Inside, you’ll find a bright living area, a fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms with soft linens. The bunk room is a favorite with kids, and the foosball table, games, and puzzles make evenings easy and fun. There’s also a small workspace with reliable WiFi if you need to check in on work.
One of our favorite parts of the house is the quiet. In the mornings, you might see quail or deer in the yard. At night, the skies are dark and full of stars—something many guests mention in their reviews. Because the home is in a rural area, it can feel very peaceful and dark after sunset, which is part of the charm.
Whether you’re hiking in Yosemite all day and coming back to cook dinner together, or spending a slow weekend enjoying the house and the surrounding nature, Lupine Landing is meant to feel relaxed, welcoming, and easy.
If you’re traveling with a larger group, we also have another unit next door—just ask us about availability.
