Staff at front desk are inefficient and impolite. The toilets and air conditioning needs urgent attention. The wait time at the river restaurant is horrendous and the queuing system for take-aways are haphazard.

Spent 4 days in Yosemite. The hotels location was super convenient, right outside the gate of the park. The river behind it was amazing. Enjoyed being able to soak in the pool after a long day of exploring the park. The pizza restaurant was amazing! The staff was friendly. My only concern was the ac until. It was a little loud and wasn’t cooling as well as I hoped. the room was clean, LOVED that it included a kitchenette and my own private balcony with a table and chairs. Definitely would stay there again!

In Top 5 worst stay

Unfriendly staff. We were struggled with power outages. There was no power from 11 PM to 5:30 AM, of course no A/C. Another power outage during dinner, so we had to pay it by cash. We stayed at a river view room, but there were bunch of birds’ shots on table, chair and sun shade. We were not able to use it. They supposed to be cleaned it in advance. As I seen, they didn’t clean it for a long time. The lodge is located at fantastic point, just 2 miles away from NP entrance. Other than that, I don’t recommend to stay here.

Excellent location and family oriented

In addition of being located very near the Yosemite Valley Portal in a nice place near the Merced River, it is family and pet friendly. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family, especially the ones with pets. Our room would benefit from a renovation, but it was very comfortable and clean.

When I checked in my room did not have any AC on and was 89 degrees inside my room. I had to wait hours with the window and door open for it cool enough to be able to sleep. The bed is also a horrible spring mattress. You feel every spring in your back.

Great location close to park and general store with grab and go food options. Should have had free water filling option. Laundry room was too small and closed at night. Not a lot of good or healthy restaurant food options, especially expensive breakfast buffet that was not very good. Some pools were a little dirty on bottom and hot tub jets did not powerful. Nice game room. The jet in the large bath tub were great and kids enjoyed. Good sized rooms and patio.

The location just outside the entrance to Yosemite can’t be beat. There are multiple pools and hot tubs. The in-room coffee, microwave, and refrigerator are convenient. The only negative is the air conditioner is noisy and hard to get the right temperature. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars.

The whole time we were there they were having power outages both during the day and night. The room was very hot, quite uncomfortable. We had to check out a day earlier because of this. I was promised a refund for that night but they still have done nothing. I contacted their manager via email and to the resort itself but no one is getting back to me. The breakfast buffet is not good either! They need to have better management for sure!
