My experience with hotels near national parks is usually subpar. Yosemite View Lodge ticks all the boxes, I would come back again. - Location: 4min drive from Yosemite park entrance Fast EV charging: Tesla chargers in the parking lot, in October there were plenty available - Easy check in and checkout - Pools and hot tubs: nice for a quick soak to relax - Comfort: clean and spacious rooms, kitchenettes have fridge, microwave and 2 burners for those who want to make their meals Good to know: bring eye masks because the light bulb outside the door is bright and blinds do not block it out. The fridge does not have a freezer compartment

Location is 5-6 mins or 2.5 miles from Yosemite NP’s central gate entrance. Plenty of parking throughout property, we were able to find a spot steps away from our door. Our specific room location (Dogwood) was central and closest to the restaurants and lobby/market. Huge plus to have Tesla superchargers on property, although there are lots of Rivian Waypoints throughout the NP if you can get one early enough. Staff were accommodating even though they looked busy. I was able to request toiletry refills by walking to the lobby nearby vs calling. The property overall was full of amenities, perfect for families. Lots of jacuzzis, 3 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool. Gym is small but had the essentials. The huge game room had a pool table, ping pong, board games, tv rooms, etc. Highly recommend the pizza spot. Didn’t try the River restaurant, too expensive & plain. Our room was delightful overall, had a gorgeous view of the rushing Merced River from our window/balcony. White noise from river made sleep comforting. Also made for pleasant mornings to wake up to. The bathroom is outdated. The sink faucet could use an upgrade and major cleaning of hard water deposits. The shower/tub is a bit weak and could use an upgraded showerhead. The balcony could use a routine cleaning of dust and spiderwebs. Lots of flying bugs but none too irritating for us. The fireplace heater and kitchenette was a nice surprise. Overall 8.5/10. Would stay here again next visit to the park.

This was a very avreage motel! The price and the extra charges were not! I know its in a good location but I take issue with why they need to charge so much! Then they tack on taxes and more! We didnt eat at the restaurant because we heard it was bad and once again over priced! They are making big time money at your expense!

Pleasantly surprised with a full outside patio overlooking the river! Also, there is a full kitchen with everything you need and a fireplace! Easy convenient parking. There is a restaurant on the property and a pizza kitchen. Pizza was reasonably priced and good quality. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There is a small store within the lobby. The gas station is less than a mile away. And the location of the property is only a few miles from the entrance to Yosemite! Such an incredible place!
