Fantastic location

We were 8 visitors in the age span from 15 - 55, and we enjoyed every minute. The house has a breathtaking view, and has several cozy zones, for recreation and socialization. The home was clean and the AC was very good. The host was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. We only have positive things to say and can highly recommend the superb location. We hope to be back!

Just superb. A magical property that has been well thought out and caters for all types. Valerio and the team are super helpful at any time. The view and surroundings are spectacular. The air con works perfectly. The pool and hot tub are a proper luxury! The table tennis table provides extra entertainment. Nearby shops (5 min drive) are well stocked (a bit more expensive as it’s a seaside town). The fish market is superb. Beaches are between 5 and 20 mins depending on what you are looking for. All round a 5* stay!

Wonderful!

This place is wonderful-even better than the photos. The view is spectacular, the pool amazing, the house is well-stocked and comfortable. The aircon is a bonus on very hot days. The bbq was great. And Valerio couldn’t be more accommodating. Absolutely 5 star place to stay with beautiful beaches within easy reach by car. Just lovely in every way. Thank you Valerio!

Silent peace of heaven over the sea

Time seamed stopped in this beautiful house. There is a superb pool in front of the sea from where you can admire the sunset. Sometimes you can't distinguish where the poolwater stops and the sea starts.. The house is really comfortable, and the garden that surrounds it warrants you a relaxful holiday.

Perfect home matched with a perfect host

The pictures don't do this place justice, Sardinia is full of incredible views but the view from this place tops them, and the best thing is that it's exclusively yours. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you need, even the facilities for the pool, BBQs really make it feel like a home away from home. Valerio is the best host I've had the pleasure of meeting. Very warm, welcoming, answers any queries you have quickly and was kind enough to drive us to the shops when we arrived to pick up any necessities. Don't hesitate in booking, this place made the holiday one to remember.

Villa, Torre della Stella

Wow, what a beautiful villa. The views were amazing. We could have stopped on the terrace looking at the view for hours. We all loved the pool.So many beaches to choose from. Some are walkable but not when it’s really hot.you definitely need google maps to find your way around. There are two small supermarkets not far away, one that does lots of barbecue meats etc. We also hired a boat from one of the beaches and swam in the beautiful blue sea in the bays. We really didn’t want to leave.

Wonderful place!

Our family of 5 ( 3 grown up children ) arrived at night when it was dark …then we woke up to that jaw dropping view! Unforgettable … The villa has everything you could possibly need. We have stayed in a lot of villas … we are fussy ….but this was the best villa we ever stayed in. The host waited for us and explained everything. The little beaches on either side are great … still not too busy at the end of June …so you don’t need to go to the other more famous beaches for that experience. Warm sea, lovely sand, dry off with an aperol spritz in hand … bliss. Our routine after breakfast was relaxing and swimming in the pool … then off to the beach (or siteseeing) in afternoon. The market and fish shop at the bottom of the hill have everything for epic bbqs and don’t miss the pizzeria / restaurant beside the market. You will need a car to get around . This was one of our best ever holidays! Thanks Valerio! 10/10

Lovely villa with spectacular views

Really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, well equipped villa with fantastic views across the Bay of Cagliari. It was hot and we were very glad of the air conditioning in the bedrooms and the lovely pool. There is also plenty of shade around the pool to escape the midday sun, and a table tennis table in the shady recess next to the pool area which we all really enjoyed using. Upstairs there is a lovely dining area with spectacular views across the bay especially at sunset. The BBQ is a modern large gas one and it got a lot of use! There is a well stocked local supermarket that has its own butchers counter and bakery, and next door to it is a fishmonger which has excellent fresh fish (recommend the sardines for the BBQ!).There are two beaches close by, one of which never seemed to be busy and where you could hire stand up paddle boards and peddle boats. Water was lovely and warm and some of the clearest I've seen anywhere in the world. (For a day boat trip with snorkelling I'd recommend the Matilda 2 out of Villasimius harbour which is about 20 mins away) The road surfaces in the village and leading to the villa are a little rough and could do with a resurface , but that was the same for many of the roads we travelled on in South Sardinia. Finally the host Valerio was fantastic, very good communications leading up to our stay and once there he was always available for any queries or advice(for example promptly sorting out the empty gas cylinder and recommending local restaurants.)

Enjoy stunning sunsets from Valerio's wonderful villa and stay cool in the pool

Surrounded by greenery, (providing perfect privacy), the villa is tastefully furnished and decorated and well cared for. Comfortable beds, efficient showers & air-conditioning, well-equipped kitchen, not very spacious, but then there's another one by the pool if you're cooking a banquet, and a big gas barbecue. Gorgeous pool with numerous sun beds and deckchairs and a covered games area with a brand new table tennis table (we made good use of that). Several communal areas easily accommodating 6-8 people but also secluded little niches if you want more privacy. Perfect! Get your provisions in - nearby there's a perfectly adequate grocery store, obviously slightly pricier than the big supermarkets - rest and relax in good company and there's no need to leave. Alternatively explore the neighbouring sandy beaches (there are many) and little villages, check out Cagliari's museums and sights, take a boat trip, go to Nora for archaeology and admire the nuraghic construction techniques - all easily accessible from the villa. We (5 adults aged between 47 and 73) did a bit of both and had a fantastic holiday. We thoroughly recommend the villa for its location, the accommodation it provides, for the scenery and the tranquillity. Before your holiday do make use of the App provided for all practical information (unfortunately we did that a bit too late) and do not hesitate to get in touch with Valerio who's a charming, very helpful and understanding host. A SatNav is a must when negotiating the winding roads of Torre delle Stelle.

One of the world's best views

The villa is lovely and the ever-changing view fantastic. Our family of 6 rented for a week and enjoyed every minute- even watching the rain over the ocean for a brief time one day. The rooms are well appointed and the mattresses comfortable. Valerio could not have been more accommodating. Although tucked away in a private setting, there were numerous fun restaurants within a 15-minute drive. Don't miss the Wednesday family night dinner at Ristorante Genn'e Mari for the ultimate Italian immersion dinner. There are numerous lovely beaches in the area- some with amenities, some without, and it is close enough to Cagliari for a day trip or two. The kitchen is small and not really suited for cooking big meals, but the fresh pasta, some salad, meats, cheeses and bread from the GSA market next to the restaurant (see above) will be easy to do, along with breakfasts and simple lunches. The oven in one level below in the poolside kitchen. Another comfy chair or two in the living space would be nice. We brought in patio chairs. Our family group plays cards, drinks wine and chats until the late hours and made great use of the spacious lounge. The owners met us when we arrived. Their son Valerio was very helpful and all made us feel welcome. Valerio cheerfully answered phone calls and emails promptly, arranged for a cab to the airport for part of the group who had to leave early and arrived at 6:30 am with a smile on his face see us off the morning we left. Warning: roads in that part of Sardinia are often narrow, steep, winding, dirt washboards, but this is probably what has allowed it to remain quiet and secluded.
