Pelican Point: Spacious Ocean View Home in Manzanita (MCA #200)

Escape to the coastal town of Manzanita and this relaxing four-bedroom home with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean and Neahkahnie Mountain. You will be one house from the beach, four blocks from a golf course, and a short walk from Nehalem Bay State Park. Walk less than a mile to downtown shops along the sandy beach or through the neighborhoods on convenient pedestrian/bike roads.

This 2-story home – perfect for multiple families or groups of friends – sleeps 12 guests (4 bedrooms, 6 beds, 2 baths). The sprawling master bedroom features a private balcony, a bonus sitting area with TV, and a pull-out couch. Also upstairs enjoy a living room that opens onto a large deck facing the ocean. The stereo accommodates your classic CDs and cassettes as well as Bluetooth.

The downstairs floor has an entertainment-focused living room with an HD TV, gaming (Xbox One), and a DVD player. Premium cable comes with HBO, ESPN and more. There is a full bath are two bedrooms: one king bedroom and another room perfect for kids, with a pull-out sofa and a bunk bed. This home offers Wi-Fi, board games, and several bikes. An outdoor gas BBQ grill is also provided.

For those with youngsters, we have a Pack 'n Play with mattress and bassinet as well as a stairwell gate for the second floor. We also have sand buckets, blocks and toy cars.

Interaction with hosts:
After you have booked your vacation, we will send additional information including an access code for the lockbox. We (Elizabeth and Patrick) do not live in Manzanita, however, feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. In addition, we also have contacts in town who are always available.

This was a wonderful stay for our group of nine. When we were leaving, I had difficulty with the lockbox (my fault) and called Patrick for help. Within minutes he returned my call and walked me through the process. Perfect!We watched spectacular sunsets and talked books and life in a comfortable setting. We all agreed we'd stay here again.

Spring Break Repeat

Our second-straight Spring Break stay at Pelican Point was another hit. The house works well in any weather, and we enjoyed our week cooking, playing games, exploring the beach, and strolling downtown. My favorite touch is the large selection of tapes and CDs, which are a nice hit of nostalgia. It's a great place for multi-generational families or multiple families of four staying together. The kitchen is well stocked and they have a lot of basic cooking supplies- like condiments, spices, and oil.

Fun at the beach

The property was amazing had everything we needed. Is just big enough for 12 people and having 2 living rooms and kitchens was great. The view from the decks was awsome we could see the water. The walk to the beach was very close

Family Fest

Our two families with young children had a wonderful stay at Pelican Point. Manzanita is always charming, but this house is wonderfully furnished and supplied with almost everything you want in a vacation home. The kitchen was well stocked, which is a big money saver. Plus, the audio system is a treat for music fans. Finally, the master bedroom is an apartment unto itself, giving everyone space to relax. The owners are also very responsive. Don't forget your bike helmets-- it's an easy ride to town or the state park.

Great location and a perfect family spot

We had a great time at Pelican Point. Teenagers loved their own space dowstairs. They even did some bike riding with the house bikes. Upstairs we had great views and the space was cozy. We would stay again.

Triple hit!

Our third time staying at Pelican Point for a week was every bit as enjoyable as our previous times. Updates to a bathroom and bedroom are very nice! As usual, we found the house clean, kitchen well stocked and organized, plenty of beach towels available and great sand toys! The house is so nice and comfortable and the views of the ocean so spectacular. With the short walk to the beach, Pelican Point is a fabulous place to enjoy the beauty of the Oregon Coast.

Perfect getaway

We had four generation family vacation here, ages 5-91. It was perfect. Lots of room, 2 kitchens, and 2 living rooms. We went to the beach, cooked seafood, and put puzzles together The house is set up so we could be all together , or we could get away for quiet time. The house was spotless, and very well stocked. Perfect!!!

Perfect Pacific Coast Location

Our stay was wonderful! The house was exactly as we expected and it provided everything we needed. Access to the beach was easy (even for some of us with older legs) 😊 and we could walk to town. Also, Oswald West hiking trail was gorgeous and within 5 miles of the house! Great experience all around!

Great location!

Christmas at the beach!

Great house - especially with some very wintry weather (even for Christmas at the beach), we spent more time indoors and less time out exploring than we would have figured. The house has 3 different seating areas, so folks could spread out when the wanted to, but easily fit us when we were together. The kitchen cooked us several holiday meals, and it was nice to have the extra kitchen downstairs as well. We had an awesome time, and the hosts were great about checking in with us.

Nice location

Positioned in south Manzanita, steps from the beach. Quiet, with great views from the main deck. House itself is older construction (actually a converted duplex), with a few upgrades (bathrooms, appliances) but also older furnishings, and so not sure it commands the price we paid.
