The pool is closed. They do NOT have a hot tub. Pool was under construction. The girl at the counter was very cold towards us. The room they gave us has a loud pump sound next to it. Hard to relax when it went off. They

The rooms we rented were on the third floor and looked like they could use some TLC. We had a couple of issues and they were addressed immediately. Amanda and Debbie at the desk are wonderful. We have been staying here for a sister's weekend for over 20 years and Amanda has been there almost as long. We love both her and Debbie. That being said, the third person there is extremely unfriendly. She is lacking in any customer service skills. A friendly smile and attitude would go a long way. She was there last year when we were there and both years she made us feel very unwelcome. Its come to the point where we are considering changing hotels for our weekend. As much as we love Debbie and Amanda , we are weighing whether dealing with her is worth it. We also would have liked a heads up that the pool was going to be totally torn up.

Hotel had construction happening so it was loud, not their fault but definitely not a relaxing experience when there were no warnings and plenty of other options of a place to stay. Staff was polite outside of checking when they seemed a bit irritated and over their days, just ready to go home.

The mandarin oranges were roten at breakfast and the bathroom in our hotel room was in need of remodeling, between the poor condition of the vanity, and the stains on shower doors... yuck!

The room wad clean. The hotel is under renovation so hopefully it will include the rooms. The sink faucets were leaking when in use. We notified the front desk of thst issue but it didn't create sn issue while we were there. One morning during a shower, the wash cloth turned blue which gave major concern because I have sensitive skin. We talked to the manager as we were leaving for the day and she said that they had just had a water treatment so the soap & water combo caused the reaction. When we returned, there were no further issues. Breakfast was the traditional items, waffle maker, toaster, & cold cereals, etc. The lady taking care to keep everything stocked did a fabulous job. We would stay here again even with the hiccups we had.

The breakfast and all day coffee were lovely. Our room was next the elevator however and it was very loud and hard to sleep. They are renovating I hope they update their mattresses as it was so uncomfortable we ached every day and were happy to get home to our own bed.
