Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. The staff at this place are amazing. Very kind and helpful. The location is great beautiful area with beautiful surrounding the cabin was very nice and comfortable. I wish it was a little bit more up-to-date. It needs a little bit work, but I still like it and I will go back.

We came to Mammoth to ski and had a great time staying here!!! The studio we were in was super cozy and lovely. Our studio had pretty much everything for simple cooking. The kitchen was missing some knives but once we call the front desk, they brought us a nice knives set. Amenities in bathroom was good. Everyone at the resort is really kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back next year.

This was our second time at the Tamarack Lodge, we came last year and came back this year because we were so impressed with last year's stay. Unfortunately this year we had problems with the heater. It just conked out in the middle of the night the first night. The maintenance man came and fixed it the next morning. But then it did the same thing again the next night. When he came back in the morning he said he would talk to the front desk about refunding us our resort fee but it did not happen. Unfortunate because otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.
