I love staying at Tamarack Lodge, it is truly my favorite place to stay at in the Mammoth area. Some of the small cabins are showing their age, but overall it’s a lovely place and if the price and timing works out, I will always come back to stay here during a visit.

The bar had a good vibe with live music. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room view towards the lake was very pleasant. The hike trail system is just a few steps from the lodge. In overall it was a great experience for my wife and I during our anniversary trip celebration. We look forward to be back during the snow season.
