I love the Mammoth Mountain Inn, but I have always stayed in the main building before. We stayed in the West Wing, which is much more like a hotel, but close to pool and spa +, but it was an unusually warm night and without AC, we couldn't cool off the room to get sleep.

The rooms need a renovation and the ceiling in the hallway and some rooms are a little low for taller people. Everything else is great though. The location is excellent, right by the Mammoth gondola.

The room was very run down, really the whole building needs a renovation, but there was food splattered over the curtains, the carpet was filthy, the walls were disgusting and if it wasn't for the spectacular view, I would be complaining more. But it certainly wasn't worth the amount I paid!
