The check-in and check-out experiences were great. The room could have been cleaned better and had some areas that were not clean/ dusted. Morning buffet breakfast on Day 1 had a piece of plastic in the cornflakes which showed up in my 13 year old son's bowl. Thankfully he removed it and I did share it with the manager in the restaurant. Day 2, I got a small stone in the spoon ful of peanuts that I picked up from the Malaysial food section. The Axis lounge was a great experience with experienced and friendly staff, good selection of cocktails and food. The italian restaurant also had very good food options with a great taste. All in all - not very happy with the stay experience. This is not the Hilton experience I have known.

This was a v good place to stay with excellent amenities like the swimming pool and very helpful service. The only inconvenience is that it is 30 minutes walk to the centre of old Melaka.

Disappointing experience at the restaurant. We waited for 30 minutes and then were told one of our orders was not available. This was after one of the meals had already been served. The food we did get was not of the expected standard for a hotel of this caliber. Room, cleanliness and other facilities were all as expected and of a high standard. Too bad about the food.

Good but service seems to be slower

It was second stay there . Service was slow in general for them to resolve my toilet flush issue ( calling front desk 3 times) , IT issues ( 2 times) and room was not made up till 430-540pm in the afternoon after given confirmation for them to do it after 4pm

Good stay at Double Tree Hotel Melaka

The location of the hotel is quite strategic, near Parkson Shopping belt, Mahkota hospital and Melaka Raya where a lot of famous eateries are located. The only setback is the carpark for Double Tree Hotel, which is located at 5th level and hotel lobby situated at level 12. You will need to validate the Touch and Go card everytime before you exit the carpark. Of course this is just a small inconvenience which is well compensated by the well spread and sumptuous Breakfast served every morning from 6 to 10am😁🙏
