Very basic for a 4-star hotel. Really it's for business travellers staying for a day or two. Air con was poor, working but air flow was the issue. Fans on the highest setting but nothing much happening. Just about kept the room bearable during the heatwave! It's ok for an overnight stay but not really somewhere you would stay for an extended visit. Very good if you're planning on getting a train to or from Atocha however.

Booked through Hotels.com and as a result, gave early check-in to every single person instead of the folks that requested ahead of time multiple times and despite arriving at sunrise. Treated us like second rate travelers and gave everyone else an early check-in because they went thru Marriott
