When I pulled up to the hotel I remember that I had stayed here about 5 years ago and was not looking forward to repeating the experience. I told myself, "Oh well, it's only 2 nights." I was surprised at the improvements. It's still a budget hotel, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I think all the rooms must have been renovated. There are still some issues with uneven floors, the free breakfast did not look that appetizing so I went to Denny's but I was pleasantly surprised.

The staff were very nice. The configuration of the hotel was interesting, but I would have been a little more comfortable if all the "hallways" had working lights, or new lightbulbs, so I could see the whole hallway. It was an older hotel, and I like those. They had only one drink vending machine, and it wasn't working... that was a bummer! But the Walgreens was right next door!
