If only the air conditioning worked

It was Ok...The rooms are super small, which we knew going in. Check-in was not so pleasant. They complained about holding our luggage until the room was ready, but they did take the luggage to our room. The air conditioning never really worked and they provided a fan. It was just OK.

Stayed in a family room (2 bunk queen beds). Bathroom glass was not frosted enough - no privacy. Air conditioning wasn’t working properly. Shower water leaked out of ‘bathroom’. We knew it would be tight but with the AC not working the top bunk was extremely warm especially since it was enclosed in glass). Additionally only 3 outlets in the room, could not charge our devices conveniently. No outlets for top bunk. What was nice were the separate TVs for each bunk, the location was central and there was a nice free happy hour offered to guests. However, since AC did not work we opened the window and it was extremely noisy all night,

Not for everyone

Everything was great but the room was very small. The bed was placed poorly as one person had to crawl over the other in order to get out of the bed. Not too good in the middle of the night.

The rooms while really well designed are TEENY! We stayed in a family room that sleeps 4. There were 3 of us and it was completely unmanageable with our luggage. The bathroom toiletries were empty so we had to buy soap. We stayed there in a heatwave, and despite advertising having air conditioning, the room was unbearable. We resorted to fans to keep the stagnant air moving

Z Holborn

Absolutely perfect for a place to stay in London after a late concert. Practically opposite Holborn Tube station and walking distance to Covent Garden. Room had no window so a little like sleeping in a big cupboard but we were literally there to sleep. Well laid out with all normal hotel provision - kettle, hairdryer etc. Would definitely use again if in London for a night.

Hotel staff is top notch. Super kind and helpful. The room is just too small. We booked a bunk queen room, so 4 adults (me, wife, daughter, and her friend). There was almost no place for luggage. The bathroom is tiny, with semi-opaque glass doors and walls so the girls were embarrassed to change (so I found a bar while they got ready for bed). Sliding doors to bathroom meant no sound proofing. So, if the dude needs to do his thing, it's best to head to the bathroom in the lobby. Wouldn't stay here again.
