Location is quite good, near the beach. Carpark is quite full nearby the hotel. No air conditioning, it may feel hot during summer time. The toilet is clean and water pressure is good.

When we checked in and got to our room the TV didn't work and the shower was extremely poor, you had to have a cold shower just to get any pressure and even then it was low. We spoke to Lorraine at reception who said she would have a go at sorting the TV out and get maintenance to look at the shower. She did show us another room but it was full of damp. We spoke to the manager on Saturday morning about our room and her attitude was disgusting she acted like she couldn't care less and tried to fob us off by saying it's because of the swimming pool that the shower quality is poor. Eventually later on Saturday after talking to Lorraine again she found us another room that was better than what we were originally put in but again the deputy manager who was with her had attitude with us and didn't really want to do anything to help. At the end of the day we don't mind if the room needs some tlc but we would appreciate a decent shower

Very tired outside, the rooms were also tired. The restaurant looked like it was the only room that’s been updated. The TV didn’t work properly in two rooms we had.

First the positives, great location, views from the sea view room was great, staff were helpful and friendly. The negatives… parts of the room looked tired, shower screen was difficult to use, vacuuming outside the room started at 6am!!, no proper coffee machine for breakfast just instant coffee!

Like most old hotel properties, it needs a lot of TLC. However the bedroom we were in was updated and comfortable. Public areas stairs, corridors and lifts need work. Staff were good and the buffet breakfast had excellent choices.

Check in was smooth. Room was spacious with nice bed, good linens and well cleaned. The only disappointment was, we got room on the basement which doesn’t have any sea views.There were no dental kit in the toilet. There is an indoor swimming pool which can accommodate 10 people at a time and will open from 8.30 to 6 pm. Unfortunately the changing rooms were under refurbishment.There is a bar situated near to the reception. The breakfast was very good and value for money.The parking was on the side of the road which you have to pay in the day time which cost around 6 pounds and at the night it is free till 10 am The hotel situated at the excellent location with many other hotels in the sea shore with nearby shops and restaurants. Overall we recommend this hotel for stay. Great value for money.

We had a sea view room which was a good and spacious, beds were very comfortable and we slept better than at home, very clean room. Service was very good with friendly and helpful staff. Overall a great place to stay

The hotel is tired and needs updating. We had a decent sized room in the attic area. There was scaffolding outside of our window and unfortunately the seagulls rested on this at night making a lot of noise. There was a good selection on offer for breakfast of both cooked and continental breakfasts. The bar prices were decent. It was conveniently located on the seafront where free car parking was available overnight, 4pm -10am.
