Everything about the property was great. Staff, bedroom, breakfast all brilliant. We feel we should have been warned about the scaffolding and plastic sheeting all round the front of the property, which virtually obliterated the view. Providing a bottle of Prosecco and 20% off the our next stay is all well and good, but didn’t mitigate our disappointment, considering it was quite expensive!

if I could give the staff more than 5 stars I would ! they were amazing and very kind. I loved the room and the black book they put together that shows you information about the town and places to go. There are local pubs in walking distance and a tram right down the road. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in both in terms of the gorgeous building with lots of original features and the owners. The owner was really kind and helpful with knowledge on activities and restaurants in the area, the room was fabulous! The cooked breakfast, as a vegetarian was the best I’ve had in a restaurant A brilliant stay I only wish I was staying for longer. I’ll definitely be back
