Great Stay in the Heart of Lisbon

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel in Lisbon. The location was fantastic – close to many of the main sights, which made getting around very easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Overall, a great choice if you want to explore Lisbon while having a comfortable place to stay.

The staff really made this hotel a 5 star experience. The rooms are cozy but well equipped. It is centrally located and easy to get anywhere you need to go. It’s a lively area around Rossio Square so you are spoiled for options. We loved the boutique feel and the port and dessert on welcome make you feel special. They gave us great recommendations and directions to everything. I would stay here again.

The staff is amazing there, especially Miss Soares and another young man who greeted us upon our arrival and helped us with a number of requests. We have stayed there three consecutive years and would Holly recommend it, particularly for the staff, location, and convenience too many other highlights.

This was a top-notch hotel. Better than a lot of four star hotels that I’ve stayed at before. The shower was one of the best I’ve experienced. The breakfast buffet was great and had lots of options. Very convenient area in the middle of Lisbon. Close to everything. Metro stations were very close by as well. Staff were nice as well. The room was small by North American standards but felt very comfortable as the layout was very efficient. Definitely recommend!

Conveniently located 3 star hotel. I did not have a room with a view, just one small window but the room was quiet, away from the square so no real issue. Bed was comfortable and the place did the job for a short stay.

Hotel itself was clean and comfortable, close to what you need. However the entrance is on a secluded street which can feel eery. It doesn’t get a lot of traffic (no cars allowed) so especially at night, if something happened no one would see or be there to help. The area is touristy but it attracts characters if you know what I mean. I wouldn’t feel safe walking down the street the entrance is on alone as a woman, so just a heads up to the girls. The hotel pictures carefully don’t include the street its entrance is on for good reason.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nicola Rossio hotel!! The breakfast was much better than average in hotels. Also the staff was exceptional! Room was kept cool with AC, although a little small. Only complaint was that outside of the hotel were homeless always staying outside which made it a little sketchy… Although the area was perfect since it was nearby all the attractions. Be aware that the hotel is not on a Main Street and you will have to walk about 2 mins to call an uber.

The property was very lovely. The rooms are very small, but very clean. Check-in was wonderful. The staff were amazing. They greeted us with a Portuguese pastry and some Port Wine! It was my birthday. They surprised me with a lovely cake in my room and a card. Very nice touch. Location was very convenient right by the Square and lots of shopping. About a 10 to 15 minute walk down to the river.

We absolutely loved the Nicola Rossio Hotel. The room itself was small, like most hotel rooms in Europe. But the staff were absolutely incredible — a super-special thank you to Penelope, who chatted with us on numerous occasions and helped us with a difficult situation during our stay. And the location really can’t be beat, just around the corner from Rossio station and within walking distance to everything in central Lisbon.
