The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good. The beds were quite hard, so I personally didnt sleep well. Some parts of the bathroom needed attention as some tiles were broken. Would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. Room was cleaned daily and towels changed if you left them on the floor. Overall it was a great location and value for money.

Only 3 nights stay 5/29-6/1. I was given a room set up for disabled person and smelled like hospital. I asked to be switched another room and was told they were sold out that I had to wait next day. 135a- I woke up in a sweat. It was so hot the AC failed. No where to be found any contact number for front desk nor other areas for help. I had to go downstairs and let her know how I felt. Not so cool. Strike two. Also the area this hotel at is boring and nowhere close to shopping area or tourist spots. That was my mistake. So if you are staying here room 107 is for wheelchair access guest and it smells like a hospital. I was able to move to regular standard room on following day. On the second room the lamp next to bed is not working. Must be needing new lightbulb. I paid decent amount for the stay. It had free breakfast. Pretty much only had opportunity for one day. Times 0730-1030a I came down to eat breakfast at 10am and they were completely out of meat and when I asked if there’s any ham left , I was told I came down too late. Like it was my fault. Instead of apologizing. I don’t think I will stay here again. Be warn. When you are just trying to enjoy your vacation and had to deal with so many issue. Lastly, I booked a ride they call it transfer to the airport. I was advised that I have to pay upfront to the front desk but failed to tell me only in cash. I barely had enough and none left to tip the driver.

All of the staff members were very welcoming and helpful. I am grateful, too, that they spoke English as I do not speak Portuguese. The rooms are small, which is typical for Europe. However, they are clean and sufficient. Public transportation is easily accessible. The only down side is that, again being Europe, the streets and especially the sidewalks are extremely narrow and are cobblestone or tile. There are shops, restaurants and small markets everywhere. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

We had spoke to the front desk numerous times about the a/c not working. 4 times in a 6 night stay, we were told it was working and everything was fine but the AC unit had error messages and didn't stay on for more than a few minutes. On check out we mentioned that we had requested it be attended to but we were met with 'we are sorry' and 'there is nothing I can do for you but thank you for letting us know. ' The staff were not helpful and did not offer any options for a room change or any discount for the inconvenience despite multiple requests for the issue to be addressed.

Nice staff, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Close to transportation. My room was quiet and very clean. Walkable to the places I want to see. It exceeds my expectation. I'll stay here again if I go back to Lisbon.

We wish we could say 4.5. The hotel was very good. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good. Location was very convenient for us We did not give this hotel a 5 star because even after repeated efforts to fix and offers to switch rooms, the bathroom in our room gave off a urine smell. Breakfast was very good especially the garlic mushrooms with the eggs but all the juices were watery and they need 2 coffee ☕️ machines for the number of guests.

Extremely friendly efficient helpful Hotel team members. Incredible location with easy access to transport, all tourist attractions with incredible River Douro & Bridge Views! Lovely bright airy Breakfast Room and excellent continental breakfast, Sealed Gluten-Free bread rolls 1st class and particularly important for my wife’s coeliac requirements! Pillows excellent quality but too soft!
