The bedside tables don't have electrical outlets for charging phones. The design of the corridors, rooms, and bathrooms is ugly, from the 80s. The TV signal at room is constantly freezing. I can't watch any channels. Plastic pipes exposed in rooms. Towels smelled bad, very bad. In my opinion, it's not a four-star hotel. It must be three stars or two stars. This hotel urgently needs modernization to keep up with current hotel standards.

The Hotel 3K Barcelona was an okay stay. We stayed there twice during or visit to Portugal, a 1-night stay and then later in the week a 2-night stay. Check-in was a bit of a bummer. We did arrived a couple hours early and our room was not ready; understandly, and we didn't mind waiting. They do store your luggage if you want to explore the city while you wait, wo we did. Unfortunately, there was no flexibility with early check-in at all. When we returned to the hotel and about 10 mins before check-in they still said our room wasn't ready, but, 10 mins later our room was ready. The bar in the lobby was technically open while we waited but there was no one around working the bar. The first room we stayed in was a newly renovated room on the first floor with a patio. The room was nice and clean. The second room was not renovated and showed its age, including the refrigerator. Also, not a lot accessible outlets for charging devices. Most of the outlets were behind the beds and the desks and we had to unplug lamps in order to use them. The breakfeast was ok. Not a lot of options and quite small. Too bad the restaurant is only open for breakfeast as it does not offer a dinner option.

The front staff was nice and the room was clean. The shower was large and there had the typical amenities. The air conditioning was non existent and the room was hottt. But this wa also during the 40 degree heat wave so I’d be willing to give it another shot

The AC was very week, we could not sleep since the room was so warm, very uncomfortable for sleeping in a hot summer time. Also the washroom needs renovate, countertop was old. The shower was not fully enclosed, only half open, so water got spilled out to the floor regardless how careful we tried to shower. Bad design.
