Quiet residential neighbourhood near Alfama

The Castelo Apartment is within the quiet residential neighbourhood of Graca (Travessa Santo Antonio à Graça) and a short walk to a local shopping area where you can get groceries, catch the tram, and enjoy more authentic restaurants and bakeries. It was nice being away from the hustle of the tourist areas. We enjoyed the local market on Tuesday and Sunday where you can buy antique tiles at reasonable prices. The 2 level apartment is on the 3rd floor of an older building with stair access. The updated apartment unit is very bright and spacious with the master bedroom and ensuite on the upper level, and 2 bedrooms with shared bath on the lower level. You will find the large kitchen, living and dining room, with access to the terrace on this level as well. With the minor inconveniences (rebooting hot water system, slow internet, and walking distance to tourist areas) we enjoyed our stay.

The view!!!

An apartment with a perfect location in the middle of the old town...the views are simply amazing!! Carpets need changing, an even though the apartment is nice decorated, it needs some updating. Still, we really enjoyed our stay ☺

Worst customer service. No hot water for 5 days. On the 4th day of our stay the "service team" went into the apartment on short notice (in our absence) to fix it. They did not fix the hot water, but managed to let the front door unlocked with our valuables inside...

Fräsch lägenhet.

Modern och fräsch lägenhet. Mycket charmigt område och gångavstånd till det mesta i Lissabon. Fantastisk utsikt över takåsar och hamnen där man kunde höra fadosång på kvällarna när fönstren var öppna.
