My recent stay at the Microtel in Lillington, NC was perfectly fine. It is a solid, average hotel that absolutely gets the job done. The room was clean, the staff was polite, and it provided a comfortable place to rest. It isn't a luxury resort, but for a straightforward and decent stay in the area, it meets expectations nicely. I would stay here again if I needed a simple room for the night.

Really nice place to book an extended stay while I was selling my house. The staff as well as the other guests were super friendly. I felt safe there as a solo traveler. It did get a little rowdy at the sports bar next door but the noise died down around 10pm so it wasn’t bad at all (I assume it was college kids from the university down the road). My parents stayed here when they visited me a few years back & recommended it and I would stay here again as a solo female traveler.
