Property was gorgeous, room was nice except for the water seeping thru the floor boards between the beds and infront of the dresser. No idea where it was coming from and the front desk did nothing for us about it. First time staying at a Marriott and the last time

No air conditioning for our stay. They brought us a fan. Also, reserved a king sized bed and was given a room with two full. Charged us full price for room even though we had no air.

The room had clumps of hair on the floors and all over the bathroom. The area rug had not been vacuumed. Shower doors wouldn’t stay closed so water would pour out into the floors. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. There were no toiletries, soap, toilet paper, etc. in our room upon check in. Even after going to the front desk twice, the room still wasn’t cleaned. Lobby and hallways are not clean. There were used bandaids on the floors for two days before they were even picked up.

Griffin Gate Golf Weekend

Great spot for a weekend of golf and a spa day. Outdoor pool was heated and clean. Golf course is beautiful and staff are amazing.

Issues

Loved the hotel . My only complaint would be we paid for a balcony and because it had not been maintained , the door stuck and had a difficult time trying to open . Not to mention it had wa not locked .it could use some Wd40 and a good cleaning of the tracks . On top of that it wa hot and humid in the room . So I’d suggest cleaning the filters for a better airflow .
