We had a wonderful experience at this family-friendly resort. The parking was convenient, and both the room and amenities were exceptional. I have only two minor suggestions for improvement. First, the spa area would benefit from better monitoring; despite the signage, there were young children swimming in the spa throughout our stay. Second, the service at The Grill could be more efficient, as we waited over 20 minutes for our drink order to be completed and had to ask for table water twice. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely be back. I hope this feedback is helpful!

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Fairmont. The staff at reception were particularly helpful when we were booking for dinner at the Leura Golf club which was excellent as well. We had seven children and the activities were really excellent for them. They enjoyed it so much. Loved the breakfast and so did everyone. I particularly enjoyed walking in the many walks surrounding the resort. It was lovely to sit in the gardens and read the tennis and netball courts were great too.

The room and facilities were great. The service was not. I was travelling alone with my two children under 6 and was counting on the services to make my trip a breeze. I couldn’t get a hold of room service (just a mom wanting a coffee!!) and there wasn’t any coffee in the room. I tried contacting the concierge upon checkout, not answering the phone. I ate at the trattoria with my kids, and it was next level humiliating. The waitress talked to us the whole 20 minutes we were there judging what I ordered for my kids to eat, the fact I let them have juice during dinner (not after) and the fact I was even there at all (shouldn’t eat out with them until they are at least 10). It was so belittling. I ended up getting our food boxes up so we could just eat in our hotel room instead. I would stay again for the kids amenities and proximity to home (short two hour drive for us) but the service was honestly terrible.

The check- in went smoothly. The facilities were explained properly and a map was provided for us to explore the grounds. I'm just curious on how the toy stuffy privilege goes. While we were queueing 5 families were before us kids in tow. All kids upon checking in got the duck toy stuffy. When it was our turn, we didn't get one. Is there an age cut off who can only receive the toy stuffy? Just want to know. The rooms were huge. The sofabed needs a bit of cleaning. There are enough pillows too. Downside of the room is that the AC is not too cold. The temp says it's 20 deg but it was cooler outside the room considering it was sweltering outside. I know AC system is fixed but that temp in the room was just a tad warm. Breakfast was great too. Staff very nice and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. The location and views were beautiful. Highly recommended.

Clean room, nice staff, activity options were good, beautiful surrounds. Disappointed that all pools were quite cold and that lots of kids activities were closed for the week (the giant slide, the train, carousel and horse riding).
