Creek Cottage - Leura Couples Getaway

This cottage was built in 2020 and is luxurious, light and spacious. Set on a large block of land and built next to Govetts Creek, a continually flowing and pristine waterway. The cottage is quiet and private with a northerly and sunny aspect. We have thought of you (our guests) in our design and inclusions. Offering high cathedral ceilings, fully equipped kitchen including a Bosch washing machine and dryer (available on request), gas log fire, lime washed floorboards (no shoes but socks provided), 55 inch TV with Foxtel and Netflix, Wi-Fi, luxurious 2 person bath, separate shower, new king size bed and a 5 x 3 meter covered deck overlooking your own private running creek. Waking up to the sound of the babbling creek is so relaxing and helps you to unwind and let the hustle and bustle of city life be an afterthought. This is a haven for relaxation, reconnection and resetting. In addition we have a natural spring (so bring your water bottles to drink this amazing and pure water).

We can also provide a gourmet grazing board $125 delivered to your door. Advance bookings necessary to source local & organic products where possible.

Imagine arriving at Creek Cottage for your stay on a cold winter’s day to the aroma of a slow cooked home made meal?

The lamps will be on, fire lit, your table will be set and the cottage cosy and warm. Your meal will be ready and all you need to do is pour your drinks.

We offer a small but delicious choice of slow cooked meals for your consideration

* Syrian chicken mild curry with accompaniments and fluffy basmati rice

* vegetarian mild curry with organic vegetables cooked in rich stock with fluffy basmati rice.

If you would like to indulge in a massage, please let us know as we have employed an experienced massage therapist who will come to the cottage for your comfort (you will need to book in advance as she is a busy therapist). 1 hour massage (in house) for women & men $150, & Facials $95. Please note our massage therapists are full qualified with many years of experience.

For other beauty treatments we are aligned with Sanctuary Skin & Beauty in Leura. Again bookings recommended.

Creek Cottage is only 1.4 km to quaint Leura Village with stunning shops, restaurants, bars and transport.

A beautiful cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very well stocked with the essentials for preparing meals. Plenty of room, particularly for a couple - the photos don't do the place justice. Warm and cosy in a picturesque location. Definitely will be booking again for future stays in the mountain. Only detraction was that the cottage is booked through a separate application called Vrbo and I couldn't access any of the messages I was sent by the owners. I had to call Wotif customer service (Vrbo has no customer service) to receive the check-in details, etc. That said, the owners replied quickly to me through email and hopefully would have provided the details directly.

Our experience was very good indeed. We had a great stay. As it was a fair walk to the cafes/restaurants in Leura town centre we took the car to stock up with groceries and enjoyed cooking for ourselves throughout our stay - the cottage was SO well equipped and such a wonderfully peaceful place to be. Kim and Ian are genuinely lovely hosts who made my stay a truly amazing experience. They are easy to communicate with and go above and beyond with special touches to make your stay even more enjoyable. I stayed in Creek Cottage and listening to the sound of the creek as you go to sleep and eat breakfast out on the deck is a real treat. The balcony is a great space to catch the sun, relax and unwind. The bath was my absolute favourite thing! The cottage was immaculate, well appointed with all that you need, comfy king size bed, full kitchen and even luxurious body products. Cannot recommend Creek Cottage highly enough! Thank you Ian and Kim, I didn’t want to leave!
