Holidaying in Mount Vesuvius - Pompei? Be sure to stop by and see the Lettere neighbourhood, situated 12 kilometres southeast of the main part of the city.
Can't face the day without at least one coffee? You'll be happy to know Lettere boasts some enticing cafes. Zucchero Cafè Bistrot is a local favourite, offering a mouthwatering selection of hot drinks and sweet treats. Once the caffeine fades and your tummy starts hankering for something a bit more substantial, grab a table at La Canonica. This popular establishment serves up some seriously delicious meals. And of course, you haven't really experienced Lettere until you've had a drink with the locals at the neighbourhood bar. Here, bar Ndo Strit cafè is where you'll want to go.
We stayed at Hotel Capodimonte for our honeymoon and loved it!! The multiple 'nooks and crannies' sported different beautiful views and locations on site were enjoyable to explore each day, the cascade pool with bar was phenomenal (even though it was WAY too cold to go swimming in October), the bars were charming with a musical Duo playing traditional songs and du much more. We enjoyed the half board allowing us to try a variety of different flavours. The only thing to note is the location is at the top of the hill, so do yourself a favour if you arrive from the port and grab a cab, it's worth the 20-30Euro. Thanks Hotel Capadimonte
