This idyllic waterfront retreat redefined "peace and quiet" for me and my family. The beautifully restored and thoughtfully updated home provides spectacular views in every direction, and the western sunsets from the dock, level back yard, or screened back porch are simply breathtaking. Comfy beds and pillows, quality linens and towels, and a gourmet kitchen complete the exceptional experience. Highly recommended, and the outstanding Black Duck restaurant is only a short drive away!

Our ladies from Cafe had a wonderful retreat. House was right on the water,clean and beautifully decorated! The hosts made sure we were completely taken care of. Firepit,somores,plenty of towles so many little extras. We will be back!

What a wonderful weekend at Towles Point! The house is absolutely beautiful and had all that we needed. Perfect Ladies weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is thoughtfully decorated and very cozy. The house has so much character! The view of the water and the sunset was majestic!! We enjoyed the fire pit and the screened in porch. We had fun shopping in Kilmarnock and enjoyed lunch at Bay Bistro. We would love to go back in the summer time and go out on the River. Great Place to get away and relax

We stay often at VRBO homes over many years with family. This is at the top of the list for a number of reasons. .All of the family agreed. And wants to come back again next year. To give folks wondering if this is the right place for thier stay. We had a variety of people with us including a couple of teachers (new and retired), a couple of business owners, and a landscaper staying with us. We all enjoyed the options of space in the house, the big yard (lot of croquet played and reading under the big shade trees, the swimming and the dock for fishing. So many options at one place. And within 30 minutes we could be in quaint towns for shopping, meals and sightseeing. The house is better than the pictures which looked awesome. It was impressive what the owners have done with this historic house. Again, when the group which included 29 to 72 was asked if they wanted to come back to this house next year for our family vacation, it was a resounding YES! Thank you to the owners for being so responsive as we planned the getaway and during our stay!!
