Comfortable and quiet

Great spot, lovely accommodation. Would have been 5 star but for the electronic door lock was a bit loose on the door and overly sensitive which meant several goes to get in with man sized fingers. On departure it was impossible to use when frost covered as a hard enough press to register was taken as multiple presses. So if the heat pump was left on apologies 😀

Not quite walkable to shops but nice and quiet new subdivision. Property clean and has everything you need. Thought the daily knock on your door to top up items too invasive. Prefer a number I could text if I needed anything.

Nice place to stay

It's spacious and clean and got everything you need. The light bulb in main bedroom's toilet is broken but the owner/staff was very responsive when we asked them to change it. Location is quite a problem to us as we don't drive.

To be honest, expensive for what it is. The units are comfy but small. The shower was full of hair and we had to get the drain cleaned because it would not drain, it also stunk of sewage. They did come and promptly clean it, they were very polite. The sound deadening was not very good between units. All noise would travel. The parking situation while ample, was not ideal. The bed was extremely comfy, the heat pump was very quiet. I was very impressed by those 2 aspects. Plus. Take your own milk, there's hardly any provided. And for the second time I totally disagree with the property's so called conditions on charging for cleaning costs after your stay. Does this mean the apartment is not serviced? $30 an hour! For late check out. Seems extreme.

This was a good stay. The room felt a little small for a three night stay but it was good. It was clean except for the stained duvet cover. We asked that it be changed and the team was very responsive to our request. Thanks. We pretty much had to drive everywhere but it was so easy to get around Lake Tekapo that we would stay at Skyrim Lodge again.
