Trish at Reception was soo sweet and made our stay extra special. The Hotel is amazing and we had a partial view of the lake and it was spectacular. Would def. stay here again but they are closing down on mid-October for renovations. Book this before they convert it into the ritz-carlton and prices will be too high too book.

Great location. Love the beach right there. We had a quiet corner room with partial lake view. We could park right near our room. The pool was situated in the middle of the complex behind the lobby. The lobby was welcoming and they offered us complimentary smores. The receptionist was also very nice and welcoming. Lots of guests checking in Froday night. 2 weddings planned for the weekend. The room is decorated very nice and bright. Good space for family of 4, 2 queen beds. It felt warm and welcoming. It os " remodeled" with sub par contractors. Dont expect 5 star quality. It felt semi clean. I noticed gritty sheets possibly from sand and pets. Hair strans on the sheets. Thinking back, I would have asked for the beds to be remade. It was noticeable that animals had stayed there, although you couldnt smell anything. The beds were otherwise very comfortable. I enjoyed the hotel and would try and stay again but would check the sheets first thing. The deck seemed nice to have although slanted and I felt uneasy on it.

Beautiful location

I booked this hotel for my parents as they haven’t had a vacation in over 10 years. They’re getting older but still work a lot and barely make ends meet. Unfortunately, my dad collapsed the first night they were there and ended up staying in the hospital and is still in the hospital. They didn’t even get to enjoy the beautiful views or the place.

Upon arrival to the property I found my room door open and with one of the hinges broken off the door. Which means the maid service saw this and left the door broken and open. When I called the front desk to request help all they said was they were fully booked. Thankfully the maintenance crew was very helpful and kind, they were able to fix our door. Overall the room was very simple, but provided a place to sleep non the less. Later that evening I took my children swimming in their pool. They unfortunately did not have any clean towels. When I asked the front desk if we could get some towels I was told “they would be done when they re done”. Needless to say they never put out any towels, we had to run to our room to get the bath towels to use. I also recieved a text that first day stating their restaurant onsite would be closed as well. Overall this was a discount family hotel, but the front staff needs an attitude change or needs to look for new employment where they might be happier. Do not go around a holiday, spend a little more money and enjoy your stay at another hotel.

Comfortable and walkable to dining options Hiking trailheads are a few minute drive away. Being on the lake is a huge benefit.
