The room was an older type with leather pillows. They had no additional pool towels, only 2 towels in our room. I had to request linens from the night staff, who were kind. The morning shift staff were more of a Karen type, overall unhelpful. Overcharged the deposit card for no reason and no invoice twice. The jacuzzi was nice. There were pretty loud guys every night occupying the jacuzzi.

Christian at the front desk provided impeccable service from check in to check out. He went above and beyond, even assisting us in starting a fire. Room was clean and great location, walking distance from gondola and lots of restaurants.

Our stay at Three Peaks Resort & Spa in South Lake Tahoe was extremely disappointing. We clearly informed the receptionist that we had a service dog, yet she was adamant that we had to pay a pet fee. She did not ask any of the legally permitted questions, did not attempt to clarify the situation, and showed absolutely no interest in addressing the issue correctly. It felt like she simply did not care. Equally frustrating was the complete lack of hospitality. The front desk staff on both days were unfriendly and unwelcoming—no greeting, no warmth, no professionalism. They appeared bored with their jobs and more interested in talking to their colleagues than assisting guests. Between being improperly charged for a service animal and the cold, dismissive attitude of the staff, this hotel failed at the most basic level of customer service. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to others.
