Nice quaint place to stay.

It was a nice place and so unique. Had activities a bar and restaurant and also breakfast (which you pay) but good selection. Had some issues with the coffee maker did it work and shower needed extra cleaning, but once reported they came right away to resolve the issue. Parking is a bit of a challenge at times since there are multiple places you need to find a spot, but a good location since you can pretty much walk everywhere.

This property offers complimentary Tesla charging which is the big plus for me! My family and I stayed 2 nights consecutively. I did not like the property asking me to fill out check-in information twice and charge $25 twice for the security deposits. We were placed in the room next to the jacuzzi which was a bit noisy. The mattress in our room was not firm

Clean, cute, and our room was right across from the hot tub.Perfect lacation, 1 block from Harvey's and 2 blocks from Lake Tahoe. I would definitely recommend Base Camp. Its a great value for the money.

I recently stayed at Basecamp in the South Lake Tahoe mountains, ideally situated just off the strip. Its location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the nearby shops and restaurants on foot. While the on-site restaurant offers a limited menu, the food is undeniably delicious. However, my experience was marred by some issues that the management should address. The hotel highlights the availability of two hot tubs, but unfortunately, the smaller one was out of service during my stay. This became a significant problem on our second night, when a busload of 50 inadequately supervised middle school children checked in. The staff seemed unable to manage the noise levels with their chaperones effectively. The following days were disrupted by children running and screaming through the hallways late into the night and early in the morning. What should have been a relaxing getaway became quite stressful, and I left feeling far from rejuvenated. To their credit, the staff were very apologetic. They adjusted my bill and graciously provided a complimentary t-shirt upon my departure, which I appreciated. Nonetheless, this kind gesture didn't quite make up for the disruption to my holiday. In summary, while Basecamp offers a promising setting and delightful dining, they need to improve their ability to handle large groups and maintain the peaceful atmosphere guests expect. Until then, think twice if tranquility is a priority for your stay

The staff is friendly, the place is quiet and free parking is a plus. The clearness is a concern, strong pee smell at stairs, the carpet in the corridor and room is very dirty. It will be nice to have a microwave either in the room or at the lobby to heat food for a small kid.
