Based on the user agreement that I had to sign from AvantStay outlining the terms of staying at this property I had very high expectations. They stated that it was our responsibility to inspect the entirety of the property and to report anything damaged or in non-working order or we would be financially responsible for repair or replacement, which I thought was excessive, but took seriously. Upon check-in I began said inspection and was blown away by the extreme lack of attention to detail by AvantStay; the house was FILTHY, there were dozens of burnt out light bulbs, burners on the stove didn't work, kitchen drawers didn't pull out, we had to use a wrench to control the shower because the faucet was busted, and I fell through a board on the rotten deck, twisting my ankle and throwing out my back. All of this found/noted within the first 12 minutes of check-in. My ankle was badly bruised and swollen, and my foot and my knee were very painful in the days following. Their negligence with this property allowed me to get injured and it completely ruined the trip. I could barely walk, and was mostly confined to the dust-covered couch. The photos they use to list this property are incredibly out of date and it's truly false advertisement, I don't recommend staying here unless you're just looking for a spot to host a party, seems like that's what it's mostly used for.
Living room area rug full of stains, and so are all of the other rugs and carpets in the house.
Deck looks nothing like the photos, it is very hazardous and not maintained. Loose boards, raised boards and nails sticking up on all three levels.
Deck is full of rotten boards and I went through this one, twisting my foot and ankle, throwing out my back.
The handle of the microwave is peeling. Inside of the fridge was dirty.
