The staff was excellent! Friendly and accommodating. Everything is very clean so no complaints there. Bathroom vanity area is a little small. Shower is great! Bed is comfortable enough. A very nice hotel for the price. I would stay there again.

The Hyatt is conveniently located not far from a JR Sunday line from where one can reach almost all interesting locations in Kyoto. The rooms are well designed, clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The Japanese restaurant is nice and provides good food & good & friendly service but it is expensive compared to restaurants at the Ponto-cho. If one has a car parking is provided on site for a fee. My wife and I staid for 6 nights and we liked the hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto! The location is perfect, and the staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. A special thank you to Dennis, the assistant manager, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our visit. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I would definitely come back and stay here again!

We had stayed at 3 other hotels in Japan and by far the customer service was fantastic!! We were welcomed right away as we got out of our taxi and knowing it was a super hot day, we were given ice cold water bottles right away. There were chairs to relax in which was so nice. Interesting when we stayed at the Intercontinental in Tokyo there were so chairs to sit and signs everywhere stating not sit on the ledges. We were walked up to our room and when we asked for extra pillows/blanket the young lady brought them in less then a minute which usually sometimes takes hours to get. Big shoutout to the best concierge staff ever! One of the ladies helped schedule a hair cut appt for my daughter and myself which was super last minute. She really wanted to help us. And we got amazing cut/color within 5 min walking distance to hotel. The next mornign when asking again for help with getting to the airport on train the concierge helped outline everything on the subways and color coded it. Only downside is they don’t have a pool. Breakfast buffet was really good! Chef even came out to great everyone and to get feedback.
