Buffet breakfast was on the colder side (for instance, the grilled mackerel was not hot enough), but the udon was very good- we had 2 servings - and the pastries with whipped butter and marmalade were yummy.
The Japanese breakfast served in the cozy restaurant on the basement floor was very good - its tofu simmering in soy milk broth which could be enjoyed to the last drop was very interesting as it was our first encounter with this dish (gotta wait 5 minutes (for the tofu to be ready), said the staff) and needless to say, it was oishi!
There’s a water dispenser outside the rooms, you might need to walk a long way depending on where your room is. Everything was new, even the cups and glasses smelled like they just came out of their boxes. So washing before use is needed😉
We stayed in a twin room with additional bed (sofa bed), so space for opening 3 medium size luggages was limited.
Check-in machines that generated card keys on the spot was cool. We paid the 1200-yen per head of hotel tax in cash.
Staff can speak English, so we could understand each other. 😊
