Seems like a new hotel - quite clean and nice. Staff spoke English and were helpful. Comfortable-sized room - not tiny. Had coffee all day and water, tea, and snacks in evening. Have a nice dining area where could sit. Train across street and bus stop out front. Kyoto station in walking distance. Good bakery next door and convenience stores and restaurants close by.

Outstanding. Best hotel in a 3-week trip, directly across from train station yet quiet. Very good and large Japanese breakfast, laundry onsite, free coffee/tea/snacks. Super friendly staff and walkable to many places too, and you get a large room (not the norm for Japan).

It was amazing. We had a wonderful time at Comfort Hotel in Kyoto. It is located near Kyoto Central station, exactly from the southern Gate of Station. The room is clean. That hotel is Eco-friendly.

Wonderful hotel

The hotel is super clean. The staffs are so gentle and kind. This is the first hotel that I have ever been giving me all of the amenities and towels daily even though I didn't request. Free snack bar and drinks all day.my boys enjoyed the hotel a lot

I loved my stay at Comfort Hotel. The room was very spacious and it was so affordable. My room faced the train station but I didn't hear any of the trains coming or going. This hotel offered free snacks and breverages at the huge lounge downstairs. Wonderful after a day of sightseeing around Kyoto. They also offer a free lending library. So unique. I loved the location too. This hotel is right across the street from the Toji Station. Very convient if you want to go to Nara Park or Arashiyama district. There's a great grocery store right down the street as well as the To-ji Temple. I loved everything about this hotel and will definitely come back to it again if I ever go back to Kyoto. It is by far the best hotel out of the 4 hotels that I stayed at in Japan.

This property was very nice, clean, and safe. The only thing that was a con was that it was a little far from the main areas. About a half hour away on bus. But the good thing is that the bus stop is right in front of the hotel and there plenty of dining options very close by and shopping.
