Kolory was very nice for a budget-friendly room. It has interesting, colorful paintings on the walls. The location was very convenient, with a small outdoor market just across the street. The only think to keep in mind is it can get a bit noisy late at night as there is an outdoor bar area in the adjacent courtyard. The provided earplugs did the trick for me.

The guest house is quite something! Decorated with traditional wooden figures throughout, many Christian in nature, with wide wooden staircases and tiled flooring, it's a very interesting property. The rooms are a decent size and the beds are relatively comfortable. There's some toiletries available. However, due to the hard flooring, it is quite noisy. You can hear other guests walk up and down stairs and open and close doors. My room was facing to the courtyard, so noise from outside wasn't too bad, but being right in the heart of the Jewish quarter and opposite many bars and a vibrant market that is open very late, I can imagine the rooms facing the front get very noisy at night! The curtains are also not black-out, so the rooms are bright early in the morning. However, there is air conditioning!

The Kolroy Guest House was great for the price. Clean and in a good location. Like others, the only downside is the noise outside at night time, however they do provide ear plugs! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and offered to keep a room aside for me when I didn't know if I needed an additional night.

Perfect location, in the heard of the old Jewish quarter, facing small market square full of restaurants, food and antique stands. Very quiet. Front door with a code. Cosy and warm, with old-style furniture and decor, the place gives a feeling of staying with family.

Wonderful stay at Kolory. Just a five minute walk from the tram stop (that goes directly to central train/bus station), rooms are bright and spacious (street-facing rooms), housekeeping service, Plac Nowy square directly in front with its little market during the day, and a thriving zapiekanka and restaurant scene at night. Loved my room with its high ceilings and vintage furniture, as though I were living back in the time period. Great value for the money. Staff are very polite, appreciative, helpful and accommodating, quick response time to messages. Thank you Jan and rest of the team for making my stay a pleasant one. While these were NOT a problem for me, they could be for others: no elevator, no refrigerator in room, and if you are sensitive to outside noise, the square out front can be loud even til 2am and beyond.

Clean and comfortable

It was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The street is loud, but I slept soundly with the provided earplugs. Its a nice location, and the artwork is whimsical and kolory.

Noisy, and unwelcoming.

The staff were very indifferent and not interested in their guests at all - didn't explain where the room was, or talk about the WiFi or a anything like that, barely looked up when I came in. room was filled with childlike wooden sculptures and a long list of rules included noone in your room at night which is crazy as paying adults should be able to do what they want in their room. Area wasn't pretty but quite lively, earplugs required and provided as very noisy. Breakfast offer was worst i've ever seen.

The kolory was ok , tbh it looked like it needed a spring clean , looked dusty , dark in reception , breakfast area needs sprucing up , food not covered up and same choice every day , plus point us it's right in the heart of a very busy square which is good but you pay for it at night time if you are a light sleeper , our room also had what looked liked a smokers area outside , noisy from 8 am onwards , would've liked to have been told this was right outside of one of our 3 beds and we would've requested another room , cause we had unpacked we stayed there
