Access to this property is inconvenient - you either access via the front carpark where taxis etc drop you off, or have to go via stairs from the side entrance. Room was reasonable in size, however, toilet didn't flush well and was getting clogged, water is in the form of glass bottles that don't re-seal. Check in staff were indifferent at times - arriving at midnight to checkin, I was greeted by a staff member who continued to count money instead of assisting me at this late hour. Concierge female staff didn't care to acknowledge me in any way while I waited for my stored luggage as it wasn't 'her job'. Bathroom amenties were extremely annoying to use - the pump for the hand soap and shower gel/shampoo/conditioner is fitted poorly. The nozzle is difficult to use as when you push down on the pump its access is limited. This is very frustrating when you try to pump out any liquids. Never had this in other hotels with similar arrangements. Housekeeping was attentive.

A simply high quality elegant hotel in the heart of Hong Kong. Great location walkable to many attractions and shopping centers. The metro is across the street, literally you open the door and cross the street 20 feet and you go down to the metro station. Staff is professional, helpful, courteous and friendly. We also had the high tea at the hotel which was exceptional. The room was clean elegant, comfortable. The bed was amazing. Definitely will come back.

The good things: the staff were excellent at this property and the location can't be beat if you want to do some shopping and be close to the water. The bad things: the property is really showing it's age. The room's furnishings, carpet and design was very dated. Upon arrival in my room I was met with a heavily perfumed room that was likely done to mask the stale humidity. The hotel (promptly) did their best to address the issue for me, but was only a minor bandaid. No amenities that kept up with modern business travel (e.g no usb for charging).

We recently spent a day/night at The Langham Hotel in Hong Kong - loved the place. It was very convenient for us (particularly coming from the nearby cruise terminal) and beautiful inside. It was relatively cost effective, and the staff were most helpful both before we arrived (in response to some emails) and while there. If you plan to stay on the Kowloon side of Victoria Harbor, we'd recommend The Langham.

Reservation, concierge and restaurant service staff were all very helpful and professional. The hotel is conveniently located to harbor for those arriving by cruise boat . Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel restaurants had limited menu options for “western food” and cost was $100/couple for simple lunch or dinner.

Sewage smell sorted

We had sewage smell in our suite which was deeply unpleasant but Lucas rapidly sorted the situation and moved us to another room and refunded our upgrade fee for the night. Broken pipes apparently. No fuss and rapidly sorted. Other than that a great stay and enjoyed it
