Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
I recently stayed here for 2 nights. While the location and amenities were decent, I found that the hotel didn't quite live up to its 5-star rating.
Pros:
- The breakfast was a highlight with a wide variety of options, which I really appreciated.
- The hotel staff were generally friendly and accommodating.
Cons:
- The rooms and bathrooms were outdated, more in line with what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel.
- The hair dryer in our room wasn’t working. After a technician came to check it, he claimed it was fine, but it stopped working again shortly after. I had to take a photo of the broken wire and show it to the reception to get it fixed properly.
- The bathroom had several issues: mold and water damage on the door frame, an old tub with paint stains/scratches, and a sink and design that felt very outdated.
- The room wasn’t what I expected from a 5-star hotel—more attention to maintenance and renovation is needed.
In conclusion, while the location and breakfast were solid, the condition of the rooms and bathrooms really let the experience down. If you’re expecting a luxury experience, I would recommend looking for a place with more modern amenities and updated interiors
