When arriving at the hotel the lobby and reception area was beautiful. We were greeted with a cold towel and a refreshing little beverage. This was well needed after the travel. Our room and the outdoor facilities were amazing. The staff made the stay extremely easy and were always 10/10 for service. The food and drink were second to none.

The service at this resort was wonderful- staff were always kind and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was pretty decent and had a good variety. The property grounds was very lush and green. With that said, I'd say this resort is more like a 4-star resort. We felt like a lot of details were overlooked or simply just not met- i.e. dirty/stained bedding that still persisted even after being replaced, beach towels that were falling apart. Still a great stay but for the price point, it felt a little short.

Brilliant hotel. Rooms were authentic, but with all modern needs. We stayed in a normal room and it was huge. The breakfast was good quality but the buffet area seemed a bit claustrophobic. Having the hotel on the beach is a great perk. With beach bar having great food and the staff are very attentive.

Great place and service

Great hotel with very accommodating staff. It was a very pleasant stay. The only area if improvement would be the housekeeping which could be better as bed sheets were not changed.

Reception staff very accommodating. Breakfast very poor and staff not the best. Not much choice. Best thing was the fresh juice. Croissants and pastries stale. Rooms very large but also very dated. Upon arrival , no greeting. We had to bring our own bags to reception. Only 5 parking spaces. Certainly not 5*. Good location, nice beach and spa.

My husband and I stayed at Royal Muang Villas for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. From the spacious room and comfortable bed, to the accommodating and friendly staff, great pool and beach area and a lot of food options, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Really nice hotel. Great and attentive staff. Large rooms with plenty of space. We had a pool room but only used the private pool once since we thought the larger pool area and the beach was much more us. Really, really fairly priced food and beverage. There are a 7-eleven, pharmacy, bars and restaurants in the street outside the hotel.

Nice landscaping, quiet villas among lush greenery, lots of food and massage options nearby. We booked a suite with private pool, garden view, and had the feeling of complete privacy. Breakfast and service very nice.Only downsides were unreluable Wifi and moody AC. Room was spacious enough but wardrobe, shower, bathtub and toilet are all within the same space, no doors between them, and poorly isolated from rest of the room.
