Karrawa Guest House was great. Rooms were nice, clean, roomy, comfortable. Owners, who were also the staff, were very helpful, friendly, attentive. The rooms include breakfast, which is a full breakfast including made-to-order hot dishes -- food was good, the grilled tomato was a big hit in our family. The Guest House is in a quiet neighborhood (about a 20-minute pleasant walk to center of Kirkwall, or an easy bus or car ride).

Amazing breakfast! I especially loved the mushroom. The hosts were great & the location was very convenient. We were able to walk to dinner after a day of frazzled nerves from white knuckle driving.

We really enjoyed our stay at Karrawa Guest House! The host was warm and welcoming, answered any questions we had as newcomers to Scotland, and the breakfast service was incredible.
