FULL OCEAN VIEW, 2nd Floor 2 BR/1 BA, BEST STAND-UP PADDLEBOARDING ON MAUI!

2037 S Kihei Rd, Kihei, HI 96753 US, LOCATED 50' FROM THE BEST SURFING COVE IN South MAUI WITH AN UNOBSTRUCTED OCEAN VIEW, our condo is on the second floor of a FRIENDLY 16 unit complex.

From the living room and private lanai you will have VIEWS FROM MAKENA TO THE WEST MAUI MOUNTAINS, including views of the islands of Molokini, Kahoolawe and Lanai.

We even have our own tiny island that you can walk out to through the shallow, sandy waters off our beach. The BEACH IS 50' FROM OUR CONDO with stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), surfing, kayaking, snorkeling and fishing all year long.

There is also a park with a playground, volleyball court, baseball field and two skating complexes. The living room and lanai have views of sunsets, whales during season, surfers, SUP's and outriggers (the Wailea Outrigger Club parks their boats right out front).

DO YOU WANT TO LEARN TO SURF? Next door you can sign up for surf/paddleboard lessons and rent surfboards, stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, snorkel/dive equipment and bicycles. The lessons take place across the street, no driving required.. From your home you can walk 5 miles along beaches and trails to the southern end of Wailea.

Groceries, restaurants, bicycle and motor scooter rentals, shops and the new Maui bus are within 2-3 blocks. Harley Davidson motorcycle rentals are also within walking distance. You could spend your vacation without a car or just rent one for a few days for special trips.

We offer lower rates because we don't have to pay a management company. We stay here at our Maui condo part time keeping it upgraded with TLC. It has had upgrades including new oversize tile shower, granite counter tops, wood cabinets, tile floors, appliances, propane Weber BBQ and furniture. The loft is accessed by a ship's ladder.

There are 2 HDTVs, a 40" in the living room and a 32" in the master bedroom, both wall mounted.

There is a private/protected/locked WiFi with a password given to you as an FYI.

An additional feature is a land phone allowing free calls to anywhere in North America, Canada, Mexico, US territories, Hawai'i, Hong Kong and China. Calls to any other parts of the world are blocked.

Beautiful location

The location was amazing! Condo was good for a home base. Kitchen was lacking in things you’d need to cook a meal and a broom on site would be nice to have. There wasn’t a futon or pullout couch. And there was no grill on site. The drive lane in and out of the building was very tricky. If we would have had a bigger car I don’t know if we would have gotten it out without hitting the wall! The master bed was very comfy! AC worked great! Kids enjoyed the pool. Bill and Janet were great to work with. And they called to check on us during the tsunami!

Beautiful view of the ocean

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view on the balcony is beautiful. It was fun to see the paddle boarders in the morning and later the surf lessons. Great location. You can walk everywhere.

Great place to watch surfers from the lanai

We loved watching the surfers and canoe riders every morning from the lanai. Every day we drove 10 mins or less to visit a different beach, location was good for that or walking 3 mins to South Maui Gardens for food and entertainment

Beautiful spot, not the best condo

It was a nice area beautiful beach and great atmosphere. We really enjoyed maui! The condo was clean but not what we expected. The couch didn't pull out or a futon and the stairs to go up to the loft where very steep. Check in was a disaster waited an hour to get a hold of the owner so we could get inside. Had to call vrbo to finally get the owner to answer. Also i am not sure they change the code to the condo for every new client that is a big security issue. It was small spot but lucky it was in such a beautiful location. The space was clean and everything worked well.

We had a delightful stay in Maui. Condo was well equipped, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect with an amazing view of the beach and delightful dining of all sorts in walking distance. The place is very close to the ocean and lots of restaurants. It’s clean and has a good shower. The owner responded promptly. The beds were comfortable. Our family of five enjoyed thoroughly. We would stay there again if we visit Kihei.

Great condo in the heart of Kehei

First off, we found the condo exactly as advertised and stocked with most all necessities. We enjoyed going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. We slept with the windows open to let the breeze cool the condo. There was a bit of road noise until about 9-10pm, but after that it was pretty quiet. Surprisingly, locals started to arrive at the beach about 30 minutes before daylight. They were not loud and gave us something to watch as we drank our coffee on the lanai. As they day progressed many people used the beach access directly across the road. Great people watching! We used the boogie boards, umbrella, and beach chairs, along with both coolers provided! It was nice to have these items to use during our stay! Kitchen is adequate, with plenty of pots and pans, but lacks spices aside from salt and pepper. If you plan to cook something, especially seafood, you might need more seasonings. The loft was as exactly as described and perfect for our 4 and 7 year olds. Would not recommend for kids younger than 4 as the ship ladder is steep! A very short walk to food and shopping. Major grocery stores are a couple miles away, but not an issue if you plan ahead. Overall, the condo was awesome and I will without question book again when we get the opportunity to travel to Maui again!

I want to come back!

The condo is as advertised. It took me a couple of tries to open the lockbox and unlock the front door using the keypad; but, all-in-all, checking in was pretty simple. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Everything was in good working order. The condo provides excellent views and is in a great location. We didn't really need to use the AC much. The cross breeze and ceiling fans kept the condo comfortable. My 18-year old son enjoyed the loft. We appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers. This condo is a very good value. I would recommend it to my family and friends, and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Bill and Janet, for your hospitality.
